重庆中建机械制造有限公司是1976年以来是西南地区主要生产建筑机械和环保除尘设备的中型骨干企业，企业始建于1953年，始建初期是基建工程兵21部队厂，军转民后主要从事建筑机械生产经营。1978年隶属中国建筑总公司后同时更名为重庆中建机械制造厂， 2005年3月，本公司生产基地迁至重庆九龙坡区白市驿工业园区，生产和管理条件得到根本改善。新生产基地紧邻成渝高速公路白市驿出口，交通十分便利。2008年3月随着中国建筑总公司即将上市，重庆中建机械制造厂更名为重庆中建机械制造有限公司。
本公司主要从事塔式起重机系列、SC系列施工升降机、钢筋加工机械系列、环保除尘设备系列等产品的生产经营，目前已形成四大系列三十多个品种。其中，塔式起重机是我厂的主导产品之一，主要有QTZ25（3208）、QTZ40（4010）、QTZ40（4209
