传动设备分公司专业生产大型工业重载专用、通用齿轮箱，大型、超大型齿轮，有八大类、一千多种规格。为矿山、电力、锻压、冶金、水泥、交通等行业的专用及通用设备提供配套。目前生产齿轮箱最大单重120吨、最大传递扭矩2000KNM；公司生产板式给料机包括轻型、中型、重型、PB引进型以及在引进技术基础上开发出的新型板式给料机五大类、近百种规格；公司还生产散料输送及装卸设备等矿山设备。产品销售网络遍布国内各省市、自治区、直辖市，并远销北美、亚洲、非洲等国家和地区。
公司具有区域领先的自主研发能力，是国内最早应用硬齿面齿轮技术的企业之一。尤其是克林根贝尔格螺旋伞齿轮和超大型齿轮的设计、制造技术及市场覆盖能力处于国内领先地位。公司技术研发部门有中、高级工程师117人，产品研发人员65人，技术队伍规模和实力居东北同类企业之首。
公司拥有各类进口磨齿机10台、3米以上大型滚齿机10台、其它齿轮加工设备41台，最大加工直径14000mm、最大模数50mm、最大齿宽2300mm；加工关键件和减速器机壳的大型数控加工中心、铣镗机床10台、其它车、铣、镗、刨、磨床100余台；以及各类控制系统先进、技术领先的热处理工艺设备30余台（套）；进口齿轮检测仪2台；大型三座标检测仪1台；性能负荷试验装置1套。传动设备分公司现生产加工能力可达年产20万吨。
