郑州机械研究所位于河南省省会郑州市，经历了50多年的发展历程，从机械工业部直属的一类综合研究所转制成了中央大型科技型企业，集科学研究、新产品开发、成果转化、技术服务、人才培养、规模化生产、自主进出口经营于一体，是河南省首批认定的高新技术企业和河南省科技创新试点企业。全所现有员工1000余人，其中享受国务院特殊津贴专家36人，研究员63人，高级工程师150余人。

 

    郑州机械研究所是我国齿轮传动、机械强度与振动、新型钎焊材料和化学标样等行业的技术归口单位，建有15个国家级和省部级科技创新平台和行业服务平台，承担完成了许多国家重大工程、重大装备的科研攻关任务，成功解决了三峡、葛洲坝、海洋工程等多项重大工程中的核心技术难题,研制填补国内空白的首台（套）新产品180余个，制修订国家标准178项，获得各种科技奖
